Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP technical development, customization, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and object-oriented ABAP programming. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP technical solutions while collaborating with functional consultants, business teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

- Develop custom solutions using Classical ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), and SAP development best practices.

- Work on Reports, Dialog Programming, Module Pool Programming, ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.

- Develop and enhance RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

- Design and develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and web services for SAP and third-party integrations.

- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs and SQL queries.

- Develop and support enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.

- Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Develop data conversion programs, migration objects, and upload utilities using LSMW and BDC techniques.

- Support SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization initiatives where applicable.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning activities.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

- Prepare technical specifications, unit test documents, and development documentation.

- Support transport management, deployment activities, and production support processes.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies and project delivery activities.

Required Qualifications :

- 4-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong expertise in ABAP programming, enhancements, interfaces, and forms development.

- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Good understanding of SAP functional modules such as MM, SD, FI, PP, or HR.

- Hands-on experience in debugging and performance optimization.

- Experience in technical specification preparation and development lifecycle activities.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, or OData services will be an added advantage.

- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, or HANA-based development preferred.

- Knowledge of SAP workflow development is a plus.

- SAP ABAP certification preferred.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
