Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform customization. The ideal candidate should have experience working on Salesforce Classic and Lightning platforms, with the ability to analyze existing customizations, recommend scalable solutions, and drive migration initiatives to Lightning architecture.

The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, enhancing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and maximum utilization of Salesforce out-of-the-box (OOB) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Analyze existing Salesforce Classic customizations and evaluate the necessity and feasibility of migrating them to Salesforce Lightning.

- Migrate custom components, workflows, and functionalities from Classic to Lightning Web Components.

- Design scalable and optimized Salesforce solutions using configuration-first and OOB platform capabilities.

- Implement automation solutions using Lightning Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of Salesforce applications.

- Utilize code analysis and quality tools to evaluate custom code efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs wherever required.

- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, governance, and security standards.

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and support release management activities.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot platform-related issues.

Required Skills & Expertise :

Technical Skills :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer/Consultant.

- Strong expertise in :

i. Salesforce Lightning Experience

ii. Lightning Web Components (LWC)

iii. Apex

iv. Visualforce

v. SOQL/SOSL

- Experience working with Salesforce Classic and Lightning migration projects.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization capabilities.

- Hands-on experience with Lightning Flows and Salesforce automation tools.

- Knowledge of Angular framework and Java programming.

- Familiarity with code analysis and code quality tools.

- Good understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, roles, and profiles.

- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, ANT, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

- Knowledge of integrations using REST/SOAP APIs is an added advantage.

Functional Skills :

- Ability to evaluate business requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of application scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability principles.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification preferred.

- Salesforce App Builder or Administrator certification is an added advantage.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
