Job Description :

Talend Developer designs, builds, and maintains robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.

They translate business requirements into scalable data integration processes, moving and transforming large-scale datasets from disparate sources into central data warehouses or lakes.

- ETL/ELT Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and test Talend jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (flat files, APIs, databases) into target systems.

- Database & SQL Optimization : Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for relational and cloud databases.

- Performance Tuning : Optimize jobs and workflows for high-volume, batch, or real-time data processing to ensure efficiency and reduce execution time.

- System Integration : Integrate Talend with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance : Monitor scheduled jobs, debug errors, and resolve data quality or pipeline issues in production environments.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Core Tooling : Proficiency in Talend Data Integration (TDI), Talend Big Data, or Talend Cloud.

- Programming Languages : Strong command of Java (as Talend generates Java code) and basic scripting.

- Database Platforms : Deep knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database management systems (RDBMS) like MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.

- Data Warehousing : Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data lake architecture.
