Tableau Expert - Data Visualisation

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Expert to lead the migration from Tableau R6 to Tableau Cloud, while providing strategic guidance on architecture, governance, and dashboard development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tableau deployments, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate business needs into impactful data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Tableau Migration : Spearhead the transition from Tableau R6 to Tableau Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.

- Architecture & Governance : Advise on best practices for Tableau architecture topology, including security, scalability, and governance frameworks.

- Dashboard Development : Design and develop high-impact KPIs and business metric dashboards, prioritizing key business objectives.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with US-based leadership to align Tableau strategies with enterprise data goals.

- Performance Optimization : Ensure dashboards and data models are optimized for speed, accuracy, and usability.

- Training & Mentoring : Guide teams on Tableau best practices, governance policies, and advanced analytics techniques.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau (Desktop, Server, Cloud).

- Proven track record in migrating from Tableau Server (R6) to Tableau Cloud.

- Strong expertise in Tableau architecture, governance, and security models.

- Ability to design executive-level dashboards with a focus on KPIs and business metrics.

- Experience working with US-based stakeholders in a global enterprise environment.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Tableau Certified Professional (Desktop, Server, or Cloud).

- Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, and ETL processes.

- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
