Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer to design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and data visualizations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tableau, data modeling, and performance optimization, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive visual insights. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure secure access to dashboards

- Publish, schedule, and manage dashboards on Tableau Server

- Optimize dashboard performance (calculations, filters, extracts, rendering)

- Connect Tableau with multiple data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, cloud warehouses)

- Develop reusable templates and maintain visualization standards

- Perform data validation and ensure report accuracy and consistency

- Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing dashboards

- Document data models, workflows, and reporting logic for governance and compliance

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development

- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server

Mandatory Skills :

- Tableau (5+ years)

- SQL (4+ years)

- Data visualization and dashboard design

- Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation

- Data modeling, joins, and data warehousing concepts

- LOD (Level of Detail) expressions, parameters, calculated fields

- Performance tuning and optimization in Tableau

- CI/CD or deployment workflows for BI solutions

Good to Have / Preferred Skills :

- Python or R (2+ years) for advanced analytics

- Power BI (2+ years) exposure

- Experience with Agile methodologies

- Familiarity with tools like Alteryx or other BI platforms

- Tableau certifications (Desktop Specialist / Certified Associate / Server Associate)
