Job Title : System Software Engineer (C++/ Storage / Virtualization)

Location : Pune / Pan India Remote (candidates should be open to travel to Pune if required)

Job Description :

The role requires someone who understands how to build and maintain reliable system-level components, contribute to testing quality through unit and integration testing, and work in performance-aware environments. Exposure to Python / Pytest / automation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities :

- Work on modules related to storage, backup/recovery, data protection, cloud, or virtualization

- Participate in debugging, optimization, and reliability improvements

- Write and maintain unit and integration tests

- Contribute to performance and load-related analysis at a basic level

- Collaborate with engineering teams on feature development and issue resolution

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of software development experience

- Strong hands-on coding in C++ / C/C++

- System-level programming experience

- Domain experience in storage / cloud / virtualization / VMware

- Experience in backup and recovery and data protection

- Good understanding of unit testing and integration testing

- Exposure to performance or load-sensitive environments

Preferred Skills :

- Python

- Pytest

- Automation exposure

- Linux/system debugging exposure
