Job Profile: Windows Management Windows Administrator (L2).

Location: Mumbai.

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site support 24-7.

Preferred experience: 4 to 6 years.

The Role :

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in managing and supporting Windows Servers including Hyper-V Cluster, IIS basic troubleshooting and new server provisioning, Hardening, patching in day-today operations.

Responsibilities:

- Proactive Monitoring of all the servers using BSE tools.

- CPU & Memory utilization & monitoring.

- Microsoft Windows Resources, Event logs & critical services Monitor.

- Monthly report on server availability.

- Respond to and own Incident till resolution.

- Engage customer contracted hardware and software support vendors to facilitate incident resolution.

- Work with customer support teams to review & resolve incidents.

- Co-ordinate customer contacts with BSE vendors in case of hardware failures or involvement of third-party vendor is required.

- Reinstallation of OS, in case of OS crashes and for the problems where reinstallation of OS is required.

- Perform restoration of all components at time of system failure or file system corrupti.

- Correlate related incidents together into a problem ticket and manage through the problem management process.

- Patch OS for Security patches and release management for the same.

- Creation/deletion/configuration of VMs, Creating/Deleting VM Snapshots.

- Reporting VM performance status using Native tools/monitoring tools.

- Manage Hyper-V 2012/2016 Clusters.

- Manage Access rights and folders.

- OS hardening as per the policy recommendations by BSE.

- IIS Basic troubleshooting.

- Server Inventory Management.

Must Have Qualifications::

- Hyper-V Management (Must).

- Failover Cluster Configuration and Management (Must).

- IIS troubleshooting (Must).

- Security patching and Hardening (Must)).

- Server commissioning and decommissioning.

- OS Migration In place and Side by side (Must).

- Server Performance troubleshooting.
