Role : Cloud Engineer - II (AWS & Azure)

The Cloud Engineer - II is responsible for designing, executing, and supporting complex cloud migration and cloud operations initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, server administration, identity management, and networking, along with strong client-facing communication skills to work directly with US-based and global customers.

- Design and execute AWS and Azure cloud migration projects, including assessment, re-hosting, re-platforming, and modernization.

- Perform Windows and Linux server administration in cloud and hybrid environments.

- Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, Group Policies (GPOs), and identity integrations.

- Design, deploy, and support Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

environments.

- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM,

CloudFormation).

- Implement cloud security controls, backup, disaster recovery, and governance best practices.

- Work directly with US-based customers and collaborate with overseas/global teams.

- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, and connectivity issues across hybrid

environments.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8 - 10 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on cloud engineering and server administration.

- Strong server administration skills : Windows Server, Linux, AD, DNS, GPOs.

- Hands-on experience with RDS and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Strong understanding of networking concepts :

1. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

2. Subnetting, routing, NAT

- Hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)

- Experience working with US-based customers and collaborating with overseas teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps - at least one required)

- Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ-104 / AZ-305 or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

- Knowledge of ITIL-based operations and incident management.

- Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
