Sunware Technologies - Python Developer - FastAPI

Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python backend development and FastAPI, complemented by experience in Azure Cloud and DevOps. In this hybrid role, youll dedicate up to half your time to DevOps responsibilities, automating, deploying, and optimizing cloud solutions to drive efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python and FastAPI

- Architect and implement solutions leveraging native Azure Cloud services

- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries with Postgres SQL

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible

- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance and cloud resource utilization

Required Skills :

- Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI

- Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices

- Hands-on experience with database design and Postgres SQL

- Practical expertise with Azure Cloud

- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, containerization, and GitLab pipelines

- Strong interest in DevOps, with a willingness to dedicate up to half of your time to these activities

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure services such as AKS

- Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation

- Understanding of AI/ML and their applications

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, DevOps, Python) are a plus

- Familiarity with agile methodologies
