We are looking for an experienced Freelance Suite Commerce Developer with strong expertise in legacy IBM i technologies, application modernization, and data engineering.

This role is ideal for professionals currently working in a 100% REMOTE setup and looking to take up a long-term freelance or part-time engagement alongside their primary role with competitive compensation and meaningful additional income.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain NetSuite SuiteCommerce / SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) applications.

- Work extensively with SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x for customizations, automation, and business logic.

- Develop and enhance applications using JavaScript, Backbone.js, ES5, and ES6.

- Work with SCA/Backbone architecture, including models, views, collections, and modules.

- Develop and maintain NetSuite integrations using RESTlets, SuiteTalk/Web Services, and other integration mechanisms.

- Work with various NetSuite record types, workflows, custom records, and business processes.

- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.

- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and resolve production defects.

- Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.

Must-Have Skills :

- 3+ years of hands-on SuiteCommerce / SCA experience.

- Strong development experience with SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0.

- Strong JavaScript knowledge with Backbone.js.

- Good understanding of ES5/ES6.

- Hands-on experience with SCA/Backbone architecture.

- Experience with NetSuite RESTlets and SuiteTalk/Web Services.

- Strong knowledge of NetSuite record types and workflows.

- Strong frontend development skills in: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
