Subject Matter Expert - Citrix Technologies

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Citrix SME to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of Citrix environments across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Citrix technologies and strong leadership abilities to guide both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design and architect enterprise-level Citrix solutions (Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler).

- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing Citrix infrastructure.

- Lead Citrix upgrades, migration projects, and new deployments.

Implementation & Optimization :

- Implement Citrix policies, profiles, and configurations.

- Optimize Citrix performance, resource utilization, and user experience.

- Conduct capacity planning and environment health assessments.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Support :

- Handle complex, high-level issues related to Citrix infrastructure.

- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning.

- Provide L3/L4 support for escalated Citrix issues.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement security best practices for Citrix environments.

- Manage access control, authentication, and application delivery security.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor and guide Citrix administrators and support teams.

- Work closely with network, server, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Prepare and maintain documentation, standards, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 -8 years of hands-on experience working with Citrix technologies

- Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop)

- Experience with Citrix Cloud architecture and deployments

- Strong hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler / ADC

- Proficiency in Citrix policies, profiles (UPM/FSLogix), and session management

- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, authentication, and performance issues

- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management

- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications :

- Citrix certifications (CCA, CCP, or CCE)

- Experience in large enterprise or multi-location environments

- Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell)
