Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert in Machine Learning (ML) and Data to provide strategic guidance, technical expertise, and innovative solutions for our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in machine learning algorithms, data engineering, and applied analytics, and will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the go-to expert for machine learning and data analytics strategies across the organization.

- Design, review, and guide the implementation of ML models and data pipelines to solve complex business problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, Business Intelligence) to align ML solutions with business objectives.

- Conduct in-depth research on emerging ML technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend best practices.

- Provide training, mentorship, and technical leadership to internal teams on ML techniques and data strategies.

- Evaluate existing data infrastructure and recommend improvements to optimize data quality, performance, and scalability.

- Translate business requirements into actionable ML solutions and data-driven insights.

- Develop documentation, frameworks, and standards for ML model development, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications :

- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

- Extensive experience in machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics (510+ years preferred).

- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java; experience with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Expertise in data management, ETL processes, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL).

- Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML and data workloads.

- Proven ability to lead technical projects and influence strategic decisions.

- Excellent communication skills to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in deploying ML models in production environments.

- Knowledge of MLOps practices, model monitoring, and lifecycle management.

- Familiarity with domain-specific ML applications (e.g., NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems).

- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to handle ambiguous business challenges.
