Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to design, build, and govern scalable data architectures that support analytics, business intelligence, and advanced data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate will lead the definition of enterprise data strategy, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain enterprise-level data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data lakehouse solutions

- Define and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks

- Lead the selection and implementation of data platforms, tools, and technologies

- Architect scalable, high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions

- Ensure data solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2)

- Guide and mentor data engineers and junior architects

- Optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases

- Partner with cloud, DevOps, and application teams to enable cloud-native data architectures

- Perform data architecture reviews and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles

- Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)

- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

- Deep understanding of data warehousing and analytics architectures

- Experience designing solutions in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks

- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
