Storage Backup Administrator - EMC Isilon/PowerScale

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and support backup infrastructure, ensuring reliable data protection and recovery processes.

- Manage and maintain storage environments including EMC Isilon, PowerScale clusters, and other enterprise storage solutions.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage systems to optimize performance and availability.

- Work with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, for storage and backup integration.

- Support and manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement storage and backup solutions aligned with business needs.

- Monitor backup jobs, resolve failures, and ensure compliance with backup policies and SLAs.

- Maintain documentation for storage and backup infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

- Ensure adherence to healthcare industry compliance and security standards related to data storage and backup.

Qualifications :

- 5-9 years of experience in storage and backup administration, preferably within the healthcare domain.

- Strong expertise with EMC Isilon and PowerScale storage clusters.

- Hands-on experience managing backup solutions and tools in enterprise environments.

- Familiarity with cloud storage and backup integration, particularly with Microsoft Azure.

- Experience working with virtualized environments, especially Hyper-V.

- Knowledge of storage protocols, cluster configurations, and performance tuning.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Understanding of healthcare industry data security and compliance requirements is a plus.
