Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled StepWise Developer with hands-on experience in the Optum StepWise platform (preferred) to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade quoting, rating, and workflow automation solutions built on Microsoft .NET technologies.

StepWise is a multi-tier enterprise application using Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and integrations across distributed systems and databases. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in workflow automation, enterprise integrations, and backend application development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using the StepWise platform

- Convert business requirements into scalable and maintainable process flows

- Build and optimize data pipelines, API integrations, and event-driven processes

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify automation opportunities

- Troubleshoot and enhance existing workflows for reliability and performance

- Document configurations, processes, and technical best practices

Technical Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain StepWise components

- Work on Rating Services (quote generation and pricing logic)

- Develop Workflow Services for business process automation

- Build and maintain Web Services (security, integrations, content management)

- Support Windows Services and ASP.NET applications

- Design and manage configuration and transactional databases

- Integrate StepWise with external systems using ODBC, APIs, Oracle, DB2

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience in StepWise Development

- Experience in Optum StepWise platform preferred

- Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET / ASP.NET

- Strong knowledge of SQL Server

- Advanced SQL query writing and performance tuning

- Experience with REST / SOAP APIs

- Knowledge of Relational Database Design

- Advanced Excel skills

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
