Job Summary :

Our Client is looking for an experienced experienced SAP HANA Performance & Operations Specialist with strong expertise in SAP HANA administration, performance optimization, and end-to-end system analysis across SAP landscapes. The role requires deep technical knowledge of HANA databases, ABAP systems, and S/4HANA environments, along with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement performance best practices in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements :

- Extensive experience in SAP HANA operations, administration, and performance optimization across :

a. ERP on HANA

b. BW on HANA / BW/4HANA

c. S/4HANA

- Strong familiarity with :

a. HANA Mini Checks

b. SQL statement analysis

c. Early Watch Alert (EWA) reports

d. HANA fundamentals

e. ABAP system performance KPIs and transactions

- Proven expertise in end-to-end SAP HANA performance analysis, including :

- Identifying and resolving memory, CPU, and I/O bottlenecks

- Advanced capabilities in :

a. SQL statement analysis

b. Query tuning on SAP HANA

c. Optimization of expensive SQL statements

- Ability to analyze system-wide performance bottlenecks across :

a. SAP HANA database

b. Operating system levels

c. ABAP-based applications, with traceability to ABAP origins

- Solid understanding of ABAP development fundamentals, including :

a. Function modules

b. Methods

c. Where-used analysis

- Hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments, with knowledge of :

a. ABAP CDS Views

b. Fiori-based application integration

- Good understanding of SAP system housekeeping practices, including :

a. Data reduction strategies

b. Data archiving for HANA-based systems

- Expertise in HANA data management techniques, including :

a. Table partitioning strategies

b. Data tiering

c. Data aging

d. Near-Line Storage (NLS) for BW on HANA

- Strong capability in :

a. Deep technical root cause analysis

b. Implementing performance optimization best practices across complex HANA landscapes

- Well-versed in :

a. SAP technology stacks

b. Cloud platforms

c. HANA cloud adoption methodologies

- Experience in SAP migrations (Suite on HANA & S/4HANA) :

a. Greenfield and Brownfield implementations

b. Data migration

c. System readiness checks and assessments

d. Post-migration stabilization (shakedown)

Good to Have :

- Basic SAP Basis administration experience

Education :

- Masters / M.Tech / Engineering / Post Graduate / MBA
