SQL Database Administrator

Role : SQL DBA.

Experience : 5-7 Years.

Work Location : Chennai.

Notice period : Immediate to max 15 days.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Understanding the requirements from the refinement meetings.

- Create design documents and write stories in product backlog.

- Lead a small team to meet the sprint commitments.

Required Skills :

- Experience in deploying the Always On Multi node cluster setup for enterprise SQL server.

- Good experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.

- Experience working in AWS managed SQL instances and migrating On-premises to AWS managed instances.

- Establish and improve DB development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high quality DB solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and execute database solutions from beginning to finish.

- Includes artifacts reviews, adhering to coding standards and ensuring appropriate stakeholder communication.

- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
