Role Summary:

Business Analyst with 3 - 5 years of experience in business analysis, with strong exposure to the Capital Markets domain. Experienced in gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, working with stakeholders, and translating business needs into clear functional requirements for technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from business stakeholders.

- Work closely with traders, operations teams, product owners, developers, and QA teams.

- Analyze and document Capital Markets business processes and workflows.

- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

- Conduct requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.

- Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.

- Support functional testing, UAT, defect analysis, and requirements validation.

- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for development teams.

- Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and manage requirement changes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project requirements.

- Prepare business process documentation and support user training where required.

Capital Markets Knowledge:

- Understanding of financial markets and investment products.

- Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Trading, Settlements, and Securities.

- Understanding of trade lifecycle and front - to - back Capital Markets processes.

- Familiarity with concepts such as order management, trade execution, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.

- Knowledge of market data, reference data, and financial instruments is an advantage.

- Strong Capital Markets / Financial Services domain experience.

- Excellent requirement - gathering and analytical skills.

- Strong documentation and communication skills.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes.

- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

- Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

- Knowledge of SQL, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is an advantage.
