Role Overview :

- Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of Android applications across devices and OS versions.

- Own end-to-end Android QA activities including functional, regression, and automation testing.

- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to deliver defect-free mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs :

- Plan, execute, and document test cases for Android applications.

- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across Android devices.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Espresso framework.

- Conduct device fragmentation testing across multiple Android devices and OS versions.

- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira.

- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

- Ensure application quality, stability, and performance before releases.

- Participate in release cycles and provide quality sign-off.

- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high product quality standards.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong experience in Android application testing.

- Hands-on experience with Espresso automation framework.

- Strong understanding of Android OS versions and device fragmentation.

- Experience working with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

- Ability to perform testing across multiple Android devices and environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in accessibility testing for mobile applications.

- Knowledge of mobile performance testing tools and methodologies.

- Exposure to testing video calling or real-time communication applications.
