Job Details:

Job Title: SharePoint Architect

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

Experience: 12-18 years

Mandatory Skills: SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365, SharePoint architecture, Graph API, SPFx (SharePoint Framework), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and security models, Azure services, DMS.

Position Overview:

- 12+ years in SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365, with demonstrable enterprise DMS implementations at scale.

- Deep expertise in SharePoint architecture, information architecture, taxonomy, content types, and metadata management.

- Proven experience designing document lifecycle, versioning, retention, and governance frameworks.

- Hands-on Microsoft Graph API experience for document, list, metadata, and permission operations.

- Hands-on SPFx (SharePoint Framework) development with React, including web parts, extensions, and Microsoft Teams-embedded solutions.

- Experience building API layers with Azure Functions / App Services and REST APIs to abstract SharePoint integrations.

- Working expertise in Azure API Management and secure API integration patterns.

- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB for business metadata persistence and synchronisation with SharePoint.

- Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage for archival, lifecycle management, and storage tiering.

- Strong grasp of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, managed identities, and SharePoint security models.

- Experience integrating SharePoint with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus.

- Demonstrated ability to optimise performance for large SharePoint repositories and Graph API integrations.

- Track record of defining SharePoint governance, security, provisioning, and content standards.

- Ability to lead solution design, mentor technical teams, and run architecture reviews.

- Excellent stakeholder communication, with experience translating business requirements into enterprise solutions.

Preferred / Nice To Have:

- SharePoint Premium / Syntex for automated document classification and content processing.

- Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness - content hygiene, permission remediation, and semantic index considerations.

- CI/CD for SPFx and Azure components using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Migration experience from on-premises SharePoint, file shares, or legacy ECM platforms (OpenText, Documentum, FileNet) using ShareGate, AvePoint, or the SharePoint Migration Tool.

- Power Platform experience - Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse - for workflow and forms.

- Search architecture, metadata-driven navigation, and custom search experiences.

- Relevant certifications: MS-700, SC-400, AZ-204, AZ-305.
