Project Manager - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)


Location : Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ CHennai


Employment Type : Full Time


Job Summary :


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) expertise to lead end-to-end ERP implementations and digital transformation initiatives.


The ideal candidate will be PMP certified, possess strong delivery management capabilities, and have proven experience managing large-scale ERP implementations, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.


The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, governance, delivery, and successful implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O programs while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget.


Key Responsibilities :


Project & Delivery Management :


- Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations projects.


- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource planning.


- Manage project lifecycle using Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies.


- Ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.


- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.


- Manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.


Stakeholder Management :


- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.


- Conduct regular project status meetings, steering committees, and governance reviews.


- Align business objectives with technology delivery.


Dynamics 365 F&O Program Oversight :


- Work closely with functional consultants, technical architects, and business teams.


- Oversee modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Retail where applicable.


- Ensure best practices in ERP implementation, integration, and migration.


Team Leadership :


- Lead cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, testers, and support teams.


- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning.


- Mentor team members and ensure delivery excellence.


Quality & Governance :


- Implement PMO governance frameworks and delivery standards.


- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and compliance requirements.


- Track KPIs, milestones, and delivery metrics.


Client Engagement & Communication :


- Prepare project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and presentations.


- Manage change requests and scope management.


- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships.


Required Skills :


Project Management :


- Strong ERP program management experience.


- Risk, cost, and schedule management.


- Agile / Scrum / Waterfall delivery models.


- Stakeholder & executive communication.


- Vendor and partner management.


Microsoft Dynamics Expertise :


- Experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.


- Understanding of ERP functional modules.


- Knowledge of integration, data migration, and release management.


Leadership & Communication :


- Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities.


- Excellent client-facing communication skills.


- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
