We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead a mission-critical integration between Vendavo PricePoint (VPP), SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere. This role is central to modernizing enterprise pricing architecture during a complex transition from legacy mainframes to S/4HANA.

As the Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end technical design, payload contracts, and integration strategy. You will bridge the gap between Vendavo pricing logic and SAP data structures, ensuring secure, high-performing, and resilient data flows across private networks and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Leadership : Own and refine the High-Level Design (HLD) for the three core integration flows :

- Master/Reference Data (S/4HANA to VPP).

- Harmonized Product Structures/BOMs/Packs (Mainframe to SAP Datasphere to VPP).

- Calculated Pricing Conditions (VPP back to S/4HANA).

- System Integration Design : Design robust data pipelines using SAP Integration Suite (CPI). Define mapping rules, validation logic, sequencing, watermarking, and payload batching (JSON, OData, REST) to ensure delta-only movements and idempotent replays.

- Drive Technical Decisions : Resolve critical open architectural questions, including :

1.Selecting the optimal B1 write-back method to S/4HANA (IDoc COND_A/COND_A04 vs. S/4 condition APIs).

2. Finalizing payload contracts, JSON schemas, and versioning rules.

3. Defining the authoritative system of record per dataset during the mainframe-to-S/4 coexistence phase.

4. Pricing Data Modeling : Map Vendavo condition entities to SAP S/4HANA condition record structures, ensuring correct application of condition types, key combinations, and validity periods.

- Security & Governance : Ensure strict adherence to network security postures involving SAP Cloud Connector, OAuth2 token management, managed secret vaults, and HTTPS tunneling.

- Operations & Cutover Planning : Define the cutover strategy, initial data load sequences, blackout windows, and rollback procedures. Draft operational runbooks for monitoring across CPI, S/4 IDoc Monitors, and the Vendavo Data Console.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise :

- Certification : Active Vendavo PricePoint (VPP) Certification is strictly required.

- Vendavo Ecosystem : Deep understanding of Vendavo Data Cloud APIs, PricePoint pricing logic (attribute-based pricing, simulation), data ingestion, and the Vendavo Data Console.

- SAP Ecosystem : Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA pricing structures (condition tables like KONH/KONP, pricing procedures) and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).

- Data Orchestration : Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, ODP/CDS views, and managing complex product structures (BOMs, supersession chains, pack definitions).

- Integration Protocols : Proven expertise in REST/OData APIs, SOAP, IDocs, JSON payload structuring, and secure file transfers (SFTP/SSH).

- Network Security : Experience configuring and working with SAP Cloud Connector to bridge public cloud tenants with private enterprise networks.

- Analytical Skills : Ability to troubleshoot complex referential integrity issues across multiple systems and design fail-safe error quarantine workflows.
