Solution Architect - Power Platform

Role Overview :

The Solution Architect will lead the end?to-end design and technical implementation of a Microsoft?Power?Platform's olution to modernize existing legacy applications into a unified, cloud?based interface.

The role involves defining architecture, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise data sources, and guiding development teams across Power?Apps, Azure?Functions, and API layers to deliver a secure, scalable, and maintainable solution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Design Define the overall architecture for the unified Power?Apps's olution, covering application components, data flow, integration patterns, and security mechanisms.

- Translate business and functional requirements from the modernization program into a future?proof technical blueprint.

- Recommend optimal Power?Platform components (Canvas?Apps, Model?Driven?Apps, Dataverse, Power?Automate, or custom connectors) and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

- Design API and integration specifications connecting Power?Apps to existing on?prem or cloud data systems (e.g. , ODS, ERP, planning or manufacturing databases).

- Establish standards for environment setup, deployment, naming conventions, and configuration management within Power?Platform and Azure.

- Technical Leadership Provide technical direction to Power?Apps?and?integration development teams throughout design, build, and test phases.

- Review configurations, connectors, and code for performance, security, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure business logic and UI design are technically feasible and aligned with best practices.

- Mentor team members and promote consistent development guidelines and design patterns.

- Governance?&?Quality Assurance Define and enforce technical quality gates including performance, scalability, and security validation.

- Establish logging, audit, and monitoring standards using Azure?Application?Insights or similar tools.

- Review non?functional requirements to ensure resilience, data integrity, and consistent user experience.

- Support production readiness assessments, deployment strategies, and incident?response procedures.

- Stakeholder Collaboration Work with customer IT, enterprise architecture, and security teams to validate alignment with organizational standards and integration constraints.

- Present architecture options, trade?offs, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

- Contribute to project planning, risk management, and effort estimation from a technical standpoint.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 8 to 12 years in enterprise solution architecture or technical leadership roles, including 4?+?years in Microsoft?Power?Platform (Power?Apps, Power?Automate, Power?BI, Dataverse).

- Strong experience designing integrations through Azure?Functions, Web?APIs, Logic?Apps, or Service?Bus.

- Deep understanding of Azure?AD authentication, OAuth2, and role?based access control.

- Proven ability to modernize legacy desktop or on-premise .NET applications to modern cloud or low?code platforms.

- Proficiency in relational databases (SQL?Server, Dataverse, or equivalent).

- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for Power?Platform solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Broad knowledge of manufacturing, operations, or supply?chain domain systems is advantageous.

- Experience integrating Power?Apps with ERP, planning, or analytics systems (SAP, Dynamics?365, Power?BI, etc.

- Microsoft certifications such as Power?Platform?Solution?Architect?Expert or Azure?Solutions?Architect?Expert preferred.
