Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Akeneo PIM Consultant / Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in Akeneo Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as an Akeneo Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Project Lead, or Project Manager, with the ability to independently manage technical requirements and drive project delivery.

This is a project-based contractual opportunity and is particularly suited for experienced professionals who are currently working remotely as consultants, independent contractors, freelancers, or on project-based engagements and can take up an additional remote project without a lengthy notice period.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, architecture, implementation, and enhancement of Akeneo PIM solutions.

- Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Akeneo PIM solutions.

- Define technical architecture, integration approaches, data models, workflows, and implementation strategies.

- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

- Lead project activities and coordinate with development, integration, QA, and business teams.

- Manage technical discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations based on Akeneo best practices.

- Design and oversee integrations between Akeneo and other enterprise systems such as eCommerce platforms, ERP, CRM, marketplaces, and third-party applications.

- Review existing PIM implementations and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

- Conduct technical reviews, provide guidance to development teams, and ensure adherence to coding and architecture standards.

- Support project planning, estimation, prioritization, delivery tracking, and risk management.

- Ensure successful delivery of project milestones within agreed timelines and quality standards.

- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guidelines.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 10+ years of overall IT / software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM.

- Mandatory experience in at least one of the following capacities:

1. Akeneo Solution Architect

2. Akeneo Technical Architect

3. Project Lead

4. Technical Lead

5. Project Manager

- Strong understanding of PIM architecture, product data management, catalog management, workflows, and data enrichment.

- Experience designing and managing Akeneo integrations with external systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to independently own technical/project responsibilities.

- Strong experience in project-based delivery and working with distributed/remote teams.
