Oracle EBS Fixed Assets & General Ledger Localization

Position Summary :

The Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end solution design for Oracle EBS Fixed Assets and General Ledger localization initiatives. The role involves defining the overall architecture, ensuring accounting and controls alignment, leading design workshops, and providing governance across implementation, conversion, testing, deployment and hypercare activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead solution architecture for Oracle EBS Fixed Assets and General Ledger modules.

- Design local GAAP and Corporate GAAP reporting solutions.

- Define asset book structures, ledger architecture, accounting flows and subledger integrations.

- Lead requirement gathering and fit-gap workshops with business stakeholders.

- Define data conversion strategy for asset migration and financial balances.

- Design SLA / Subledger Accounting and Create Accounting processes.

- Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls and audit readiness.

- Review functional and technical design documents.

- Provide guidance during SIT, UAT, deployment and hypercare phases.

- Evaluate change requests and recommend solution approaches.

- Coordinate with Finance, IT, Tax and external auditors where required.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of Oracle EBS experience, with 8+ years in Oracle Fixed Assets and General Ledger.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2.x, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting and Financial Reporting.

- Experience with Oracle Project Accounting integration and asset capitalization flows.

- Experience with localization, statutory reporting and financial compliance requirements.

- Strong understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements and period-close processes.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle Financials implementation certifications.

- Manufacturing industry experience.

- Global rollout or finance localization project experience.
