Solution Architect - MS Intune

Description :

- Assess application requirements, dependencies, and compatibility before packaging

- Select appropriate packaging technologies such as MSI, MSIX, App-V, and PSADT

- Perform technical feasibility analysis for new application onboarding

- Identify and resolve application conflicts, risks, and compatibility issues

- Enforce packaging governance, templates, documentation, and quality standards

- Ensure compliance with enterprise deployment platforms like Intune and SCCM/MECM

- Provide technical guidance and support to packaging engineers

- Collaborate with application, security, and engineering teams to support releases

- Ensure applications are deployment-ready with proper detection, install, uninstall, and rollback logic

- Support automation and scripting for efficient application deployment

- Oversee testing, validation, and user acceptance activities

- Approve application packages for production release

- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and licensing requirements

- Maintain documentation and provide regular status and quality reports

Technical Skills :

- 2 - 3 years in a senior packaging or solution architect role preferred.

- Certifications in ITIL, SCCM, or Azure technologies are an advantage.

Expert-level understanding of application packaging tools :

- AdminStudio / InstallShield

- MSIX Packaging Tool

- Orca, Wix, Flexera tools

- PSADT scripting

Strong knowledge of application deployment platforms :

- SCCM/MECM

- Intune

- Group Policy deployments

Expertise in :

- MSI customization (Tables, Transforms)

- MSIX conversion and containerization

- App-V sequencing (optional)

- Silent install/uninstall scripting

- Strong PowerShell scripting skills.

- Deep understanding of Windows architecture, registry, file system, services, drivers, and COM components.

- Knowledge of vulnerability management and secure configuration practices.
