Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect specializing in mobile banking to lead the design and architecture of our mobile banking platform.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mobile application design, backend microservice architecture, and integration with banking systems.

They will play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and design objectives for the mobile banking platform.

- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of the mobile banking solution, encompassing both frontend mobile application design and backend microservice design.

- Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate design decisions, system components, and integration points to stakeholders.

- Define standards, best practices, and guidelines for mobile application development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the mobile banking platform, considering factors such as scalability, security, and performance.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and design patterns.

- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the mobile banking platform architecture to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments related to mobile banking and fintech, and incorporate relevant advancements into the architectural roadmap.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred.

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in designing and implementing mobile banking solutions.

- In-depth knowledge of mobile application development frameworks, including iOS, Android, and hybrid app development technologies.

- Strong expertise in backend microservice architecture (Java), API design, and integration patterns, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

- Proficiency in architecting cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of banking systems, payment processing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
