- Snowflake Experience : 4 to 6+ years (minimum 3 enterprise implementations)

- Azure Cloud Experience : 4+ years

Role Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned Snowflake Solution Architect with strong expertise in Azure cloud to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. The candidate will lead end-to-end architecture, migration, modernization, governance, and cost optimization initiatives on Snowflake deployed over Azure.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

1. Snowflake (Core Mandatory) :

- Snowflake Architecture & Virtual Warehouses

- Multi-cluster warehouse setup

- Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks

- Time Travel & Zero-Copy Cloning

- Query Performance Tuning & Optimization

- Micro-partitioning & Clustering strategy

- RBAC, Dynamic Data Masking & Row Access Policies

- Secure Data Sharing

- Cost optimization & resource governance

- Cross-region replication & DR strategy

2. Azure Cloud (Mandatory) :

Hands-on architecture experience in :

- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)

- Azure Data Factory (ADF)

- Azure Synapse (integration knowledge)

- Azure Active Directory (AAD) integration

- Azure Key Vault

- Azure DevOps

- Event Hub (Good to have for streaming)

- Azure Functions (Optional)

3. Data Engineering & ELT :

- Advanced SQL (Mandatory)

- Python (Preferred)

- dbt (Strongly Preferred)

- ADF / Informatica / Matillion (Any one mandatory)

- Experience designing large-scale ELT pipelines

- Batch & Near real-time ingestion patterns

4. Data Modeling :

- Dimensional Modeling (Kimball)

- Data Vault 2.0

- Star & Snowflake Schema design

- CDC implementation strategies

5. DevOps & Automation :

- CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

- Git-based version control

- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

- Automated deployment of Snowflake objects
