Job Title : Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer - AV Systems & Experiential Installations with minimum 3+ years of experience to support the planning, programming, installation, and maintenance of software-driven audio-visual systems for immersive environments such as museums, sound & light shows, planetariums, projection mapping installations, interactive exhibits, and 3D experiential setups. The ideal candidate should have experience in AV system integration, projection mapping technologies, interactive installations, and digital experience systems, enabling them to contribute to complex experiential projects across multiple locations.

This role requires someone who can design system architecture, develop software solutions, integrate AV hardware and control systems, and support installation and commissioning at project sites to ensure seamless and engaging visitor experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan and design AV and interactive system architecture including projection systems, audio systems, lighting systems and media servers while programming and configuring projection mapping software, media servers, lighting and show control systems.

- Install, configure and commission AV hardware, software platforms and interactive systems at project sites while integrating projection, audio, lighting and control systems to deliver synchronized immersive experiences.

- Conduct system testing, debugging, calibration and performance optimization of projection, audio and lighting systems while supporting installation teams during on-site setup and commissioning.

- Develop and maintain software for interactive exhibits, touchscreen displays and digital installations while integrating sensors, motion detection, RFID and touch-based interfaces with interactive applications.

- Monitor system performance, conduct diagnostics and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain system documentation and train operational teams on basic system usage and troubleshooting.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Experience working on immersive technologies, museums, exhibitions, planetariums, theme parks or large-scale AV installations.

- Hands-on experience in projection mapping, interactive systems, digital storytelling environments and experiential technology projects.

- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in dynamic project environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AV systems integration or experiential technology installations.

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics or related technical field.

- Strong programming knowledge in Python, C++/C#, JavaScript or similar technologies.

- Familiarity with projection mapping software such as Resolume, MadMapper, TouchDesigner, Disguise or Watchout and AV technologies including lighting control systems (DMX, Art-Net), media servers and audio integration.

- Knowledge of Linux/Windows system environments, networking protocols and device communication systems.

- Good communication skills, ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and willingness to travel to project sites for installation and commissioning.

- Proficiency in office tools such as Microsoft Office including hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and familiarity with AI tools for research, automation and system optimization.
