Job Overview :
We are looking for a skilled SDET Engineer to support engineering teams by improving build quality, test automation, and overall system reliability. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong debugging capabilities, CI/CD expertise, and close collaboration with developers to ensure stable and scalable releases.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing and development, with experience analyzing system failures, working with telemetry data, and building actionable insights through dashboards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Debug and resolve build and test failures across development and release pipelines
- Analyze logs, telemetry, and system data using Kusto/KQL and SQL
- Support, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve build stability and release reliability
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks aligned with engineering best practices
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into build quality and system health
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and QA to identify issues early in the development lifecycle
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Ensure testing processes align with continuous delivery and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and release engineering practices
- Proven debugging and troubleshooting experience in complex systems
- Hands-on expertise with Kusto Query Language (KQL) and/or SQL
- Solid understanding of SDET principles and software testing methodologies
- Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, and/or Perforce
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative engineering environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience debugging mobile devices, consoles, or gaming hardware
- Exposure to performance, reliability, or telemetry-based testing
- Familiarity with cloud-based build and deployment environments
- Experience working in agile development teams
