Job Description :

We are looking for a passionate, pragmatic React Native Software Development Engineer to join an agile, high-impact mobile team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining customer-facing mobile applications that serve millions of users globally.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Android/iOS native engineers, and backend teams to drive technical choices, build performant features, and deliver seamless digital-to-store customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Mobile Architecture & Development : Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, complex mobile applications using React Native.

- Feature Delivery : Solve technical problems and implement scalable, well-tested features for large-scale customer-facing applications.

- API Integration : Integrate mobile applications with modern GraphQL API endpoints and backend services.

- Mobile Engineering Excellence : Address device/network limitations, device fragmentation, and platform-specific nuances across both Android and iOS.

- Technical Leadership & Ownership : Act as a technical leader within a cross-functional squad - mentoring peers, prototyping solutions for ambiguous requirements, and guiding projects from inception to production.

- Quality & Best Practices : Promote solid mobile engineering practices, including unit/integration testing (BDD/TDD), mobile accessibility standards, automated builds, and CI/CD/DevOps workflows.

Key Requirements :

- Technical Expertise : Deep commercial software development experience in React Native and a strong understanding of mobile platform capabilities and limitations.

- API Integration : Hands-on experience and solid understanding of GraphQL API integration.

- Architecture & Design : Demonstrated experience architecting complex mobile applications with an emphasize on performance, scalability, and code maintainability.

- Accessibility : Strong understanding and practical application of industry-standard mobile accessibility guidelines.

- Development Practices : Thorough exposure to the full Mobile SDLC (Design, Coding, Testing, Build, QA, Deployment, Maintenance) and Agile/Lean frameworks (BDD, TDD, ATDD).

- Education : BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Good to Have / Desired Attributes :

- Active GitHub profile showcasing open-source contributions or personal mobile apps.

- Familiarity with native mobile development platforms (Android / iOS native codebases).

- Hands-on experience with DevOps workflows and continuous integration pipelines tailored for mobile deployments.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to take ownership, influence stakeholders, and navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
