Role Overview:

As an SDE-3 in Mobile Application Development, you will serve as a technical anchor for our mobile engineering initiatives in Bangalore. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, high-performance mobile solutions that serve a diverse user base. Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineering teams, you will drive the technical roadmap for our native and cross-platform applications. This role is pivotal in ensuring our mobile ecosystem remains robust, user-centric, and aligned with the latest industry standards, directly impacting the quality and reliability of the digital products we deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and maintain high-performance mobile applications using Kotlin and Swift to ensure seamless user experiences across Android and iOS platforms.

- Lead the implementation and integration of Kotlin Multiplatform to optimize code sharing and accelerate feature delivery cycles across the development team.

- Mentor junior engineers through rigorous code reviews and technical guidance to foster a culture of engineering excellence and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into modular, scalable, and maintainable mobile architecture.

- Optimize application performance, memory management, and battery consumption to meet the high standards of modern mobile environments.

- Evaluate and integrate React Native components where necessary to balance native performance with rapid cross-platform development needs.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling native mobile applications with 7 to 9 years of professional experience in the mobile development domain.

- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin for Android development and Swift for iOS development, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems.

- Proven ability to implement Kotlin Multiplatform in production environments to streamline multi-platform development workflows.

- Strong working knowledge of React Native, with the ability to integrate it effectively within existing native codebases.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, coordinating effectively with distributed teams in Bangalore.

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact mobile features in fast-paced environments.
