Role Overview :

As an SDE-2 Frontend, you will be the technical owner of our customer-facing platforms performance. We are looking for an engineer who moves beyond simple feature delivery to drive high-impact technical strategies, particularly in SEO and Web Performance. You will be expected to lead junior engineers by example, ensuring that the frontend architecture is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for both users and search engines.

Responsibilities :

- Performance Ownership : Lead the optimization of Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) for the customer-facing website to ensure a high-performance user experience.

- Technical SEO Strategy : Own the technical SEO execution, including rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR), structured data, and crawlability.

- Leadership & Mentorship : Actively lead and coach junior frontend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership within the frontend team.

- Quality Guardianship : Drive code quality through rigorous PR reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

- Scalable Systems : Design and build reusable UI components and shared libraries using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

- Technical Design : Lead the creation of frontend technical specifications and design documents for major product milestones.

- Observability: Monitor production performance and SEO regressions, improving observability for frontend-related signals.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience at high-growth product companies with a focus on building large-scale, high-traffic web applications.

- Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.

- Proven track record of implementing technical SEO (Schema.org, Meta tags, Canonical URLs) for large-scale platforms.

- Hands-on experience with performance tools such as Lighthouse, Google Search Console, and PageSpeed Insights.

- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS, Docker, and deployment workflows on Vercel.

- Solid experience integrating frontend applications with backend systems via APIs.

- Ability to take charge of frontend delivery and lead technical initiatives in the absence of senior leadership.
