About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1) to join our mobile development team. You will build, enhance, and maintain customer-facing mobile application features using Flutter. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of hands-on Flutter development experience who enjoys solving product problems in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, release, and maintain cross-platform mobile application features using Flutter and Dart.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Integrate REST APIs, manage application state, and handle error scenarios effectively.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code following OOP and mobile development best practices.
- Debug production issues, improve application performance, and optimize app reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Support app releases on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Flutter mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, and asynchronous programming.
- Good understanding of OOP principles, clean code practices, and common mobile design patterns.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
- Familiarity with state-management approaches such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX.
- Experience with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
- Working knowledge of debugging tools, app performance optimization, and responsive UI development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Good to Have:
- Experience publishing applications to the Play Store or App Store.
- Familiarity with Firebase services, push notifications, analytics, or crash reporting.
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or other high-transaction mobile applications.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
