We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join OurTeam . This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by setting up and managing test environments for quality control throughout our development lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities :

- Set up and maintain test environments for quality control across all development stages (Dev, Stage, CTF, Production)

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies including unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and post-production tests

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality before promotion through deployment stages

- Perform API testing and validation using industry-standard tools

- Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, and test data

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios

- Participate in code reviews and provide quality-focused feedback

- Ensure database integrity and validate data across MSSQL and PostgreSQL environments

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

Required Technical Skills :

Testing Tools & Frameworks :

- Proficiency with Insomnia (or similar API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI)

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Unit Test Framework

Strong understanding of testing methodologies :

1. Unit Testing

2. Integration Testing

3. Regression Testing

4. Post-Production Testing

Database Technologies :

- Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) - query writing, stored procedures, data validation

- PostgreSQL - database testing and validation

Development Tools & Languages :

- Visual Studio and VS Code

- C# programming knowledge for test automation and understanding application code

- Version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket)

Additional Technical Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)

- Test automation frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
