Overview :

The Sr QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of the SmartVault (secure document management) and OCMP (omnichannel campaign) platforms through comprehensive testing practices, catching defects early to deliver stable, high-performance releases.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans and cases for manual and automated testing : Outline scenarios covering user journeys, edge cases, and acceptance criteria, then run them across environments to validate functionality pre-release.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and load testing : Test individual features (functional), API/service interactions (integration), post-update stability (regression), response times under normal load (performance), and system behavior at peak traffic (load, e.g., simulating 10k concurrent users).

- Create and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or Cypress : Build frameworks for UI/API tests (Selenium/Cypress for browser automation, JMeter for load simulation), integrate with CI/CD (Jenkins), and ensure 80%+ coverage with data-driven scripts.

- Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve defects early : Triage bugs via Jira, reproduce issues in dev environments, pair on fixes, and verify resolutions in shift-left testing approach.

- Maintain detailed documentation of test processes, results, and defect reports : Update test rails, traceability matrices, dashboards (e.g., TestRail/Allure), and post-mortem analyses for continuous improvement.

- Ensure platform compliance with industry quality standards : Validate against OWASP for security, ISO 27001 for data protection, and SLAs for uptime/performance.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (BDD/TDD) and performance testing frameworks.

- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing (e.g., validating data integrity post-API calls).
