Overview :

The Jr DevOps Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and containerized environments in a multicloud setup (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure reliable deployments for platforms like CPaaS and SmartVault, learning to automate and scale operations across hybrid clouds.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab : Create pipelines for multi-stage builds (lint/test/scan/deploy), GitOps workflows (ArgoCD), artifact management (Harbor), and multicloud deployments with branch-based environments (dev/stage/prod).

- Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters for container orchestration : Provision EKS/GKE/AKS clusters, deploy apps via YAML/Helm, configure Ingress controllers, HPA autoscaling, persistent volumes (CSI drivers), and cross-cloud federation for resilience.

- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack : Instrument metrics collection (node-exporter), build custom dashboards for multicloud resources, log aggregation from pods/services, and alerting (Alertmanager/Slack) for issues like pod crashes or high latency.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Ansible : Code multicloud infra (VPCs, IAM roles, DBs across providers), use Terraform Cloud/Workspaces for state mgmt, Ansible for config (idempotent playbooks), and Git for versioned IaC.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in OCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

- Proficiency in IT infrastructure and networking concepts (e.g., VPC peering, service meshes like Istio).

Multicloud Focus : Hands-on with AWS/GCP/Azure services for hybrid resilience.
