Sitecore Developer - .Net/CMS

Job Overview :

We are urgently looking for a skilled Sitecore Developer with strong expertise in Sitecore CMS,.NET, and C# to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will work closely with UX, content, and backend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Sitecore solutions.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

Sitecore Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and customize Sitecore CMS components, templates, layouts, and renderings.

- Implement Sitecore features using Helix architecture and best practices.

- Develop reusable Sitecore modules and extensions using .NET and C#.

Backend Development (.NET / C#) :

- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and Web API.

- Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.

- Optimize application performance and scalability.

Integration & Content Management :

- Integrate Sitecore with third-party systems such as CRM, ERP, analytics, and marketing tools.

- Work closely with content authors and marketing teams to enable smooth content workflows.

- Implement personalization, workflows, and multisite configurations.

Performance, Security & Quality :

- Ensure Sitecore solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

- Implement caching strategies, search (Solr), and indexing configurations.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

Testing, Deployment & Support :

- Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT activities.

- Assist with deployments, upgrades, patches, and Sitecore version migrations.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and solution design artifacts.

- Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Sitecore Development

- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API

- Experience with :

1. Sitecore Content Editor & Experience Editor

2. Sitecore Templates, Layouts, Renderings

3. Helix architecture (preferred)

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics

Database & Tools :

- Experience with SQL Server

- Familiarity with Solr search integration

- Experience with Git or other version control systems

Nice to Have Skills :

- Experience with Sitecore Experience Platform (XP/XM)

- Exposure to:

i. Sitecore Personalization & Analytics

ii. Sitecore Commerce

iii. Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
