Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role located in India for a Senior Software Engineer at Silent Infotech Inc.

The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing software solutions, designing and maintaining back-end systems, and ensuring high-quality programming standards.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to the evolution of scalable and efficient software platforms.

Qualifications :

- A strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and principles.

- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.

- Experience working with Odoo ERP is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a team-oriented, on-site environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (Python / Java / JavaScript / PHP or similar)

- Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

- Solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms

- Experience with backend web frameworks and APIs

- Strong experience in Back-End Web Development RESTful API design and implementation

- Experience working with web services and server-side logic

- Understanding of MVC / layered architecture patterns

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

- Strong SQL writing and database optimization skills

- Basic exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

- Experience working with Odoo ERP (customization, modules, workflows) is a strong plus

- Understanding of business processes such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, or HR modules

- Experience with Git or other version control systems

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

- Experience with debugging, logging, and monitoring tools

- Understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies

- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, on-site environment

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker

- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development

- Experience working on scalable or enterprise-grade applications
