We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Citrix Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad or Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Citrix environment, with a strong focus on IGEL UMS management and thin client infrastructure. You will leverage your deep expertise in Citrix virtualization, Windows Server environments, and networking to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

IGEL UMS Management :

- Extensive experience with the latest versions of IGEL UMS (Universal Management Suite), including its core functionalities.

- In-depth knowledge of UMS upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.

- Understanding and management of UMS High Availability (HA) configurations.

- Familiarity with UMS database connections and basic concepts.

- Proficiency in understanding UMS profile structures, creating new profiles, and updating existing ones.

- Setting up Default Directory Rules and managing device views.

- Experience in creating and scheduling various jobs within the UMS console.

- Good understanding of UMS device settings and configurations for optimal performance.

- Basic troubleshooting knowledge on Linux devices and CLI for thin client management.

- Sound experience in Thin Client Firmware (FW) upgrades.

- Working experience with HP and Dell Thin Clients.

- Understanding of Thin Client deployment planning, documentation, and reporting.

Citrix Administration :

- In-depth knowledge of Citrix virtualization and its functioning.

- Experience in Citrix technologies (e.g., XenApp, XenDesktop, Virtual Apps and Desktops) is a significant advantage.

- Performance monitoring and fine-tuning of the Citrix environment to ensure optimal user experience.

Windows Server & Infrastructure :

- Strong experience with Microsoft Enterprise Windows Server 2012/2016 administration.

- Proficiency in managing Group Policies (GPOs) and Active Directory.

- Experience with DPM (Data Protection Manager), DFS (Distributed File System), and App-V (Application Virtualization).

- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions, including iSCSI / Fibre Channel exposure.

- Experience with SAN / NAS hardware deployment and configuration.

- Knowledge of enterprise data continuity solutions.

Networking :

- Solid understanding of Networking & VLANs & Firewalls, switches, and routers.

- Proficiency in DHCP/DNS & TCP/IP (IPv4 / IPv6).

- Experience with SSL / VPN & Hardware configurations.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Citrix Administrator or in a similar role.

- Proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex Citrix and thin client environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

- Certifications in Citrix, Microsoft Server administration, or related technologies are a plus.
