Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and release processes.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine operational tasks, system checks, and monitoring activities.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to improve system reliability, deployment frequency, and overall engineering efficiency.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system vulnerabilities, and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution.
- Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform / CloudFormation (preferred).
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies.
Key Requirements :
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Deep understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) for automation and operational efficiency.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to cost optimization and cloud governance strategies
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
