Siebel Developer - CRM Configuration & Customization

We are seeking an experienced Siebel Developer with strong expertise in Siebel CRM configuration, customization, scripting, integration, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining enterprise Siebel applications, ensuring system stability, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.

This role requires deep hands-on experience with Siebel Tools, integration frameworks, and Oracle databases, along with the ability to support deployments and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Siebel Configuration & Customization :

- Configure and customize Siebel Business Objects, Business Components, Applets, Views, and Screens based on business requirements.

- Implement and manage Siebel workflows, validations, and UI customizations.

- Support enhancements across Siebel modules such as Sales, Service, and EAI.

Scripting & Development :

- Develop, debug, and maintain Siebel scripts using eScript and VBScript.

- Ensure adherence to Siebel development best practices and coding standards.

- Perform unit testing and support system and user acceptance testing.

Integration & Interfaces :

- Design and implement integrations using Siebel EAI, REST, and SOAP web services.

- Work with inbound and outbound integrations, message queues, and external systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.

Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting :

- Analyze and optimize Siebel application performance, including UI, server components, and database interactions.

- Identify root causes of application issues and implement long-term fixes.

- Support production incidents and provide timely resolution.

Deployment & Migration Support :

- Support deployment, migration, and release management activities across environments.

- Assist with Siebel upgrades, patches, and configuration migrations.

- Ensure smooth transitions between development, test, and production environments.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with functional teams, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of overall experience in Siebel CRM development.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel Tools.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Siebel configuration (Business Objects, Applets, Views, Screens)

2. Siebel scripting (eScript, VBScript)

3. Siebel EAI and web services (REST, SOAP)

- Experience with Siebel modules such as Sales, Service, and EAI.

- Proficient in SQL and Oracle Database.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
