About the Role :

We are looking for a Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager who can act as a hands-on architect and delivery-focused engineering leader.

You will own system design and architecture for logistics and supply chain platforms, solving for scale, reliability, and real-time operations, while leading a strong engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own architecture and system design (HLD/LLD) for core logistics platforms

- Design systems powering order lifecycle, shipment tracking, routing, and delivery orchestration

- Build scalable microservices and API-first platforms for high-volume shipment processing

- Enable real-time tracking, SLA adherence, and operational visibility across the network

- Drive systems for route optimization, load planning, and hub operations

- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decisions

- Ensure systems are built for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance

- Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team

- Stay hands-on with coding, reviews, and system problem-solving

What Were Looking For :

- Strong experience in distributed systems and scalable architecture

- Deep understanding of system design, HLD/LLD, and backend architecture

- Hands-on experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems

- Strong coding expertise in Java / Python / Golang / Node.js

- Experience building high-scale transactional systems (orders, shipments, tracking, etc.)

- Understanding of logistics, delivery, or supply chain workflows

- Ability to solve complex, real-time operational challenges at scale

- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach

Good to Have :

- Experience with logistics platforms (last-mile, mid-mile, warehousing, or fulfillment systems)

- Exposure to route optimization, dispatch systems, or network planning tools

- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka), real-time systems

- Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Background in e-commerce, supply chain, or SaaS platforms
