Role Overview :
As a ServiceNow UI Builder Developer, you will lead the design and implementation of sophisticated user interfaces and automated workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners and business stakeholders, to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-performance applications.
This role is pivotal in enhancing the user experience for our enterprise clients, ensuring that our ServiceNow implementations are not only functional but also highly scalable and maintainable. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle, from initial architecture to final deployment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop custom web components and interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder to provide a modern, responsive user experience for enterprise users.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules to streamline IT service delivery and improve operational efficiency for our clients.
- Architect and implement complex business logic using advanced JavaScript to automate workflows and integrate disparate systems.
- Develop and execute comprehensive automated test suites using Playwright to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of platform updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications that align with platform best practices.
- Mentor junior developers by conducting code reviews and promoting best practices in platform development and UI design.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying custom applications using ServiceNow UI Builder and related web technologies.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, modular, and efficient code for server-side and client-side scripting.
- Deep functional knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, including incident, problem, and change management configurations.
- Proven ability to design and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright to support continuous integration and deployment cycles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of managing complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
