Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Developer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-wide portfolio management solutions. In this role, you will act as a bridge between technical architecture and business strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional delivery teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable ServiceNow configurations. You will be responsible for driving the maturity of our SPM ecosystem, ensuring that our investment in the platform directly translates into improved project visibility, resource optimization, and accelerated business outcomes for our global clients. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in India, allowing you to collaborate with distributed teams while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and configure end-to-end ServiceNow SPM modules, including Demand, Project, Portfolio, and Resource Management, to align with specific organizational strategic goals.

- Lead the technical design of complex integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise tools to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy for executive leadership.

- Mentor junior developers and technical consultants by conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for platform maintenance and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with business process owners to identify gaps in current workflows and implement automated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user adoption.

- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and prototyping to testing and production deployment, ensuring all solutions are robust and scalable.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and configuring ServiceNow SPM (formerly ITBM) modules with a deep understanding of the underlying data architecture and platform capabilities.

- Proven ability to translate high-level business strategy into technical requirements, communicating effectively with both technical teams and non-technical executive stakeholders.

- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes) and experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus across diverse project teams.

- Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of self-motivation and accountability while managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant ServiceNow certifications in SPM or Application Development.
