Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and maintain the ServiceNow Software Asset Management module.

- Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, usage, upgrades, and disposal.

- Ensure software license compliance and audit readiness.

- Analyze software usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities through re-harvesting, downgrade rights, or license optimization.

- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date software asset inventory in ServiceNow.

- Integrate SAM data with Discovery, CMDB, and other ServiceNow modules.

- Prepare and deliver compliance reports, license consumption dashboards, and executive summaries.

- Act as a subject matter expert on software licensing models (e.g., SaaS, perpetual, subscription, user/device-based).

- Support internal and external audits by providing license and usage documentation.

Required Qualifications :

- 35 years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management (ITAM).

- Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow SAM module (Certified Implementation Specialist preferred).

- Knowledge of major software vendors and licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM).

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and integrations.

- Familiarity with software contracts, EULAs, and vendor audit processes.

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
