Role Overview :

As an ITOM Developer specializing in ServiceNow, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing solutions that streamline IT operations and enhance service delivery. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, and application development, to understand their needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of IT processes, improve service availability, and ultimately contribute to a better experience for end-users and customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB, to meet business requirements and improve IT operational efficiency.

- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations to automate IT processes and enhance service delivery for internal stakeholders and external clients.

- Implement and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support effective IT asset management and service impact analysis.

- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems to streamline data flow and improve overall system interoperability for various business units.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow ITOM modules, integrations, and configurations to ensure optimal system performance and availability for all users.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical guidance on ServiceNow ITOM best practices to improve IT service management processes.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures, to support the ongoing maintenance and support of ServiceNow solutions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.

- Proven ability to configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, Jelly, and other scripting languages.

- Deep understanding of ITIL principles and best practices, with the ability to apply them to the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ServiceNow ITOM modules and integrations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in a remote or hybrid work environment, demonstrating strong self-management and communication skills.
