Job Role :
- Design and Implementation : Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR, monitoring tools, Active Directory) using protocols like REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and third-party connectors.
- Workflow Automation : Develop custom APIs, automate workflows with Flow Designer/Workflow Editor, and utilize AppEngine and Creator Studio to build custom applications that enhance business processes.
- Data Management : Analyze, map, transform, and manage data exchange between platforms using tools like Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Scheduled Jobs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance : Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to integrations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Documentation and Standards : Create and maintain technical documentation for integration of workflows, processes, and custom applications, ensuring all work adheres to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration and Guidance : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills :
Must-Have :
- Integration Technologies : Expertise in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL, JSON, XML), APIs, Integration Hub & Spokes, MID Server, LDAP, SSO (SAML), JDBC, and Import Sets.
- Scripting and Development : Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API (Glide Record), HTML/CSS, and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
- ServiceNow Modules : In-depth knowledge of core modules like ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB), ITOM (Discovery, Event Management), CSM, and HRSD is often required.
- Development Tools : Experience with ServiceNow Studio IDE, Flow Designer, Automated Test Framework (ATF), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Certifications Required :
1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
2. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
3. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant areas (ITSM, HRSD, etc.)
