Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer / Lead with a strong background in ServiceNow application development and platform implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions while working closely with stakeholders in an Agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

- Lead and contribute to end-to-end ServiceNow development, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Build and customize Service Portal components and UI elements to enhance user experience.

- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript-based components within ServiceNow.

- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, AJAX, and JSON/XML.

- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when acting in a lead capacity.

Required Skills & Experience :

Core Experience :

- Minimum 7+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation.

- Proven experience in building applications on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript.

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and UI component development.

Technical Skills :

- Excellent proficiency in JavaScript, with a strong focus on modularity, reusability, and component-based development.

- Solid understanding of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, and related web technologies.

- Experience working with REST and SOAP web services for system integrations.

- Strong grasp of web development concepts and ServiceNow scripting best practices.
