ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Frameworks

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

Lead development across modules such as :

1. IT Service Management (ITSM)

2. HR Service Delivery (HRSD)

3. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

- Customize ServiceNow applications using scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.).

- Build and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Lead architecture discussions and ensure best practices in development and deployment.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

- Ensure platform performance, security, and scalability.

- Support upgrades, patching, and instance management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong expertise in :

1. ITSM, HRSD, and GRC modules

Proficiency in :

1. JavaScript, Glide scripting, ServiceNow APIs

2. Integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server)

- Experience with ServiceNow data model, CMDB, and workflows.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred) :

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Mandatory

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Preferred (ITSM/HRSD/GRC)

Good to Have :

- Exposure to UI Builder / Service Portal / Next Experience UI

- Experience in enterprise-scale implementations

- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
